About The Role - The Onboarding Team is included in the Product department and composed of Onboarding Architects (OAs). Most onboarding activities are customer-facing, with OAs helping and advising our customers on how to efficiently use Orderful while onboarding their partners as fast as possible. Onboarding Architects are also a liaison between customers and Product Managers. Having both a strong understanding of EDI and of Orderful, our OAs contribute to the understanding, designing and testing of new Orderful features while working alongside our Product Managers.
Onboarding Architects must be able to help our customers through EDI and/or onboarding challenges. They work closely with our customers implementing Orderful. In some instances, Onboarding Architects must also be able to test an EDI implementation with an external partner.What You'll DoOwn Customer OnboardingSuccessfully onboard customers to the Orderful platform through a consistent, scalable onboarding process.This Includes - Educating/training customers on how to successfully onboard using Orderful
- Advising customers on requirement gathering on their EDI integration
- Troubleshooting, resolving customer issues related to onboarding
- Ensuring the customer is progressing through onboarding and hitting the milestones of each onboarding phase
- Gathering requirements and testing partnerships on behalf of customers
- Building a relationship with customers
Be a Champion for Continual Product Improvement - Provide your expertise and opinion, both internally and externally, to improve Orderful’s product and process.
- Identify, formalize, categorize and escalate product feedback from customers
- Research onboarding common issues and draft product solutions
- Collaborate on designs for new product features and improvements
- Coordinate internal and external facing product documentation initiatives
- Identify tasks and opportunities for process or product automation.
- Host customer feedback meetings to understand customer issues and translate that into actionable feedback.
- Work cross-functionally with other departments to identify and solve problems.
About YouIdeal profile: You’ve worked in EDI as a business analyst or EDI integrator. You know how to build integration and/or test an EDI implementation with a partner. You understand and have experienced most EDI pain points when onboarding a new partner and you’re ready to tackle the EDI problem with a product mindset and using modern technology.Your Qualities - Technical - you are curious and love learning how things work, especially technology

Qualifications - 2+ years of supply chain/EDI experience working in software or a technical field
- Understanding of EDI guidelines and processes
- Familiarity with EDI communication channels: AS2, SFTP/FTP, etc.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and Integrations
- Experience working in a fast paced (preferably startup) environment
- Critical and analytical thinker; with a strong focus on operational excellence and quality management using data and metrics, both qualitative and quantitative
- Ability to dive into the data using SQL, Tableau, and/or other methods
- Data oriented and technically minded
- Structured Query Language (SQL) Queries
- Familiarity with X12/JSON and SORs/ERPS/CRMs
Bonus Skills - Coding experience with any language (e.g. Javascript, Python)
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline in Business, Logistics, IT or Computer Science
