AI Data Engineer
Remote - within the UK£50,000 - £75,000 AI - Data Engineer - Our client is a leading Fintech company in the financial services sector, recognized for their innovative approach to enhancing their bespoke, cutting-edge CRM platform. This platform is central to their operations, enabling the continuous delivery of market-leading features and the expansion of their diverse product offerings to both residential and commercial customers.
The Opportunity:As the AI Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in establishing the data infrastructure for a newly formed team dedicated to implementing AI-driven processes across the company’s CRM platform, Progressive Web Apps (PWA), decisioning engine, and various proprietary tools. This is a unique opportunity to influence the design of data pipelines, ensure data quality, and set the standards for how data supports AI applications within a complex, multi-platform environment.
Key Responsibilities: D- ata Pipeline Design: Design and maintain data pipelines that support AI-driven features across CRM, PWAs, the decisioning engine, and other proprietary tools, establishing the foundational data infrastructure for the team.
D- ata Quality Management: Ensure data quality, consistency, and availability to support AI applications such as NLP, real-time analytics, and adaptive AI systems across multiple platforms, setting standards for data management within the team.
I- ntegration Collaboration: Work closely with the AI Integration Developer to connect data sources with third-party AI tools, influencing the technical approach to data integration within the proprietary technology stack.
O- ptimisation: Optimise data storage and retrieval processes, helping to define how data supports AI integration across various systems, ensuring efficient and scalable data handling.
M- onitoring and Logging: Implement monitoring and logging solutions to track data flow and AI tool performance, establishing processes that ensure data-driven decision-making within the team.
C- ross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with business goals, influencing the data strategy for the new team and contributing to the overall success of AI initiatives.
Requirements - Extensive experience in data engineering or database management, particularly in AI/ML applications across multiple platforms.
- Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL, and data pipeline tools.
- Practical experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Understanding of data preparation for AI/ML models, including those involving AI agents and feedback loops within complex technology environments.
- Demonstrated ability to shape data practices within new teams and deliver effective data solutions across diverse systems.
