Browser-based games and dapps are supported too, and receive graphics card acceleration and our overlay when played through the HyperPlay app.This OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled and experienced engineer to work with our live-ops and engineering teams to create compelling in-game quest experiences by designing and implementing robust API connections to gaming partners. The Live Ops & Support Engineer will work directly with gaming partners to collect technical requirements and build solid, tested API integrations to track in-game actions. They will also help debug and resolve support issues related to quest integrations, rewards, and, occasionally, broader platform functionalities.Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable, secure API connections to track in-game actions within partner games.
• Integrate API connections into our platform’s questing and rewards backend services.
• Help productize our in-game integrations by building reusable tools for API setups.
• Collaborate with gaming partners to gather requirements and create technical documentation.
• Test API integrations and quest functionalities, providing feedback to partners and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure timely delivery of integrations in collaboration with the product and quest teams.
• Work with the support team to debug and help fix any quest-related issues.
• Work with the support team to debug and help fix occasional platform-related issues.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field (e.g. programming, computer science).
• Strong proficiency in building scalable APIs in Node.js and GraphQL.
• Familiarity with blockchain protocols (e.g., Ethereum, zkSync, Arbitrum etc.) and event indexing tools like the Graph Protocol or Moonstream.
• Highly organized with great attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
