At Block Labs, we’re passionate about turning bold ideas into breakthrough success.We’re looking for a Conversion Rate Optimisation Specialist to join our growing team!About The RoleAs the CRO Specialist, you will play a crucial role in improving conversion rates across all our digital platforms. You will be responsible for improving the percentage of website and app visitors who take a desired action, such as making a purchase, downloading a resource, or engaging with a product.You will work closely with product, developers, UX, and the data team, to drive event tracking implementation, design and execute A/B tests, and identify best practices to improve user engagement and conversions. You will also be responsible for providing data-driven insights to inform strategy and ensure that the right metrics are being tracked to measure success.Key Responsibilities

  • Conversion Optimisation Strategy: Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive conversion optimisation strategy across all brands, ensuring that key user touchpoints are optimised for maximum engagement and conversion rates.
  • Event Tracking & Implementation: Collaborate with product managers and developers to set up, refine, and optimize event tracking across our websites and apps. Ensure that all necessary conversion and behavioral events are accurately tracked and reported.
  • A/B Testing & Experimentation: Design, launch, and analyze A/B and multivariate tests to identify opportunities for conversion improvement. Regularly test landing pages, funnels, and features to determine the best-performing variants.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Work with our internal data team to define what metrics and KPIs should be reported on, and ensure the accuracy of the data being captured. Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on their data analysis.
  • Collaborative Work: Partner closely with product, development, marketing, and design teams to align on goals and ensure that CRO efforts are fully integrated with broader product and marketing strategies.
  • Identify Best Practices: Stay on top of CRO and UX/UI best practices and industry trends, implementing new ideas and strategies that can further enhance the user journey across platforms.
  • Funnel Optimization: Analyze user flows, conversion funnels, and behavior to pinpoint areas of friction. Recommend strategies to reduce drop-off rates and increase conversion rates.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Document all CRO experiments, processes, and learnings to ensure the team benefits from a library of insights and best practices. Share key findings with stakeholders and ensure CRO knowledge is disseminated across teams.
  • Continuous Improvement: Maintain a mindset of continuous improvement, regularly reviewing performance metrics, user behavior data, and the competitive landscape to refine strategies and achieve optimal results.
About You
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in conversion rate optimization, data analytics, or a related field. Experience in ecommerce, fintech, or iGaming sectors is highly advantageous.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in using CRO tools (e.g., Google Optimize, Optimizely, VWO) and web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Amplitude, Hotjar, Clarity).
  • Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to analyze large data sets, extract meaningful insights, and use data to inform decisions. Experience working with data teams to develop dashboards and track key performance metrics.
  • A/B Testing Expertise: Proven track record of designing and running successful A/B and multivariate tests with a strong understanding of statistical significance and test result interpretation.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with product managers, developers, designers, and data analysts to execute CRO initiatives.
  • eCommerce Experience: Strong experience in optimizing conversion rates for eCommerce platforms, with a focus on enhancing user journeys, increasing transaction completion rates, and driving online sales.
  • Multi-Brand Optimization: Proven ability to manage and execute conversion strategies across multiple brands in different industries simultaneously, ensuring tailored approaches for each unique product and audience.
  • User Experience Focus: Strong understanding of user experience (UX) principles and how they intersect with CRO. Knowledge of user flow optimization, UI best practices, and funnel performance.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Proactive problem solver with the ability to identify areas of improvement, develop solutions, and drive measurable impact on key metrics.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous in tracking, analyzing, and testing to ensure accuracy and effectiveness in CRO efforts.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to pivot strategies based on new data and findings.
  • Industry Adaptability: A strong willingness and capacity to quickly learn and immerse yourself in the specific industry dynamics; crypto, fintech, iGaming.
