This is a place to make a difference in the world.The Role & What You Will Be DoingEvery day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Power BI Community Manager will make an impact:We are currently seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Power BI expert to lead our internal Power BI Center-of-Excellence (COE) and enable the analytics self-service community across Viatris. This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished Power BI practitioner who understands the value of sharing their expertise and building a strong self-service community.In this role, you will be responsible for leading the internal Power BI COE, which is focused on enabling users throughout Viatris to derive maximum value from our investment in Power BI. You will work with Power BI users around the world at all levels of expertise, and be responsible for education, community-of-practice, governance and innovation with Power BI. • Leading the Power BI COE and enabling the Power BI self-service community throughout Viatris.
• Collaborating with users at all levels of expertise to architect, guide, and deliver Power BI solutions for strategic initiatives.
• Serve as an internal Power BI expert, adopting new and innovative approaches to Power BI development.
• Developing proof of concept and prototype solutions for usage of Power BI and applying those to address business needs.
• Provide coaching, training and guidance to the Power BI self-service community, and internal Power BI developers.
• Present on Power BI and analytics topics to small and large audiences, in English.
• Ensuring alignment with Viatris data architecture guidance, Power BI COE standards, governance, and business requirements.
• Developing and maintaining standards, best practices, education around Power BI.
• Develop and maintain admin level reporting for the MS Fabric service around governance, auditing/compliance.
• Provide coaching, training and guidance for the MS Fabric COE end users.
• Run internal User group meetings for both PBI and MS Fabric.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) is required
• 3+ years of hands-on development experience with MS Power BI
• 1+ years of hands-on development experience with MS Fabric is a plus
• 5+ years of experience in Analytical Reporting, Data Visualization tools & techniques
• Strong ability to transform and integrate complex data from multiple sources into accessible, understandable and usable information
• Experience facilitating a Power BI self-service community including governance, operating model, deployment strategies, best practice sharing, education, etc.
• Comfort with presenting both online and in person to large groups.
• Significant experience working with key business stakeholders (across all levels) in the use of Power BI and related tools to support strategic and operational decision making
• Strong communication skills with proven expertise leading visualization design and/or business dashboard working sessions
• Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English required
• Understanding of data warehousing architecture concepts is required.
• PL-300 Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst certification is preferred.
• Exposure to and some experience with Azure analytics suite of products is preferred.
• Hands on experience with programing languages such as Python is a plus.
• Experience developing solutions for the pharmaceuticals industry is a plus.
