You will take on all aspects of web management, from maintenance and content updates (with the help of our dedicated copywriters and content producers) to improving user engagement and accessibility. Key Responsibilities Website Design and Development Review and reimagine the current site design, proposing enhancements that improve aesthetics, navigability, and usability. Use platforms like WordPress or Wix to maintain, update, and develop custom features and layouts. Apply skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to ensure a responsive, visually appealing site that works seamlessly across devices and browsers. Content Management Ensure regular content updates with press officers and copywriters that keep the website fresh, relevant, and aligned with the organisation’s messaging. Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., SEO, Google Analytics) to optimise content for search engine visibility. User Experience (UX) Optimisation Bring a fresh perspective to UX/UI, enhancing site navigation, structure, and accessibility for a more intuitive user experience. Conduct basic user feedback analysis to understand visitor needs and improve the website layout and features. Experience with UX design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch is a plus but we are open to different profiles. Communication Communicate proactively with users about site updates, maintenance schedules, and issue resolutions. Collaborate with content creators and designers to integrate new features and ensure cohesive messaging. Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving Swiftly diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimise downtime and ensure a smooth user experience. Use tools like Google Search Console or cPanel to identify and address performance, SEO, and functionality issues.
