About The Role Our client is seeking a Systems Architect Engineer to join their expanding team of cloud-first technology enthusiasts. The ideal candidate possesses an innovative and entrepreneurial instinct for recognizing value and implementing pragmatic solutions that contribute to the growth of the business. Responsibilities - Architect and promote solutions to challenges across the enterprise, incorporating both Windows and Linux workloads in an Azure cloud environment. - Provide problem analysis and third-level support for the SaaS application. - Enhance security, availability, reliability, and scalability of the SaaS platform. - Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of technology teams through innovative solutions and processes. - Build relationships with key technology stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs. - Ensure that all solutions and operational activities comply with the security and operating policies of the organization. - Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery or the health of the environment through process improvement and continual development of documentation and runbooks. Requirements - Master's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. - 12+ years of experience managing high-volume SaaS products within a software development organization. - Expertise in hybrid and cloud-based compute, storage, and containerization solutions (Azure, Kubernetes preferred). - Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategies and variable workload (container) orchestration (Terraform, Ansible preferred). - In-depth knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery strategies and technologies. - Expert in Microsoft technologies such as Azure, Microsoft 365, Azure AD/AADDS, Active Directory Domain Services, Windows 11, Windows Server 2019+, DHCP, and DNS. - Proficient in programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL, PowerShell). - Expertise in Linux server systems administration (e.g., Red Hat, CentOS, Debian). - Familiarity with traditional and PaaS web application technologies (e.g., Azure Web Apps, IIS, application load balancing). - Strong understanding of Agile methodology, DevOps, Scrum, ITSM, and/or ITIL principles.
