Senior Test Automation LeadRemote
DELIVERABLES OR TASKS:Leads the design, customization & development of the Test Automation framework / harness and any in-house tools/frameworks, adapting Scritpless automation and/or new automation technologies.Collaborate with Platform team and develop a short-term and long-term test automation strategy/roadmap for State Fund.Conducts research to identify tools, automation frameworks and methodologies for overall efficiency improvements in test automation.Collaborating cross functionally with Test Architects and Test Leads to proactively analyze current processes and practices and defining improvements of test strategy, test frameworks, infrastructure, tools and test coverage.Key Deliverables depending on the application supported: Test Automation Strategy, Test Automation Plan, Test Automation Coverage Metrics, Test Automation Framework (UI, API, and Mobile etc), Test Automation Traceability Matrix, Test Automation Execution reports, Test Automation User Guide, Test Automation Summary Report, and ROI Analysis Report etc.Seasoned technical leader with in-depth understanding of emerging technologies and their commercial applications.Conduct tool evaluation, Proof of Concept and identifying the right candidates for automation.Conduct QE Optimization using CI/CD/CT and other processes optimization. Increase batch process automation footprint to replicate upstream data generation.Responsible for implementing NextGen applications test automation and modernization. SME (Subject Matter Expert) in Delivering complex testing end-to-end project & needs such as requirement review, technical assessment, test estimation, meet defined target timelines, represent QE in project meetings, and supporting team during testing phase and hands-on involved in Automation & manual execution across releases wherever applicable.Constantly look for opportunities to improve test automation methodologies, test automation coverage and efficiency with high standards, Increase batch process automation footprint to replicate upstream data generation.Required Time Allocation:60% - Test automation Initiatives inherit and enhance existing automation frameworks; create test scripts, methodologies, strategies and approaches; driving automation deliverables for projects, expanding and growing automation test coverage every release by certain percentage set forth by IT QA leadership team and helping the team to meet the goals for the year. Reporting automation progress against the SLAs/Objectives defined20% - Technical guidance, & oversight of assigned test automation team20% - Close coordination with multiple IT & business stakeholders, Connecting dots in automation, ROI assessments and supporting Test Automation Platform Team.
