Sales and Acquisition: Identify and secure new customers for Nigeria-bound direct freight services, including port-to-port, door-to-door, port-to-door, and door-to-port.
Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
Transaction Handling: Manage sales transactions for direct freight services, ensuring each shipment is individually documented with an AWB or BOL. Consolidated freight services are not offered.
Account Management: Take on the role of account manager for all customers sourced and onboarded.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
Advanced certifications in Sales, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management are an added advantage.
Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics sales, business development preferably in the Upstream Oil and Gas sector.
Strong sales abilities with excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to build relationships, close deals, and manage accounts effectively.
Proactive attitude toward customer engagement and retention with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Self-driven, highly motivated, and capable of working independently in a remote environment. Strong problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset.
Familiarity with CRM systems, sales management software, and online tools for communication and sales management. Experience handling AWB, BOL, and other freight documentation is preferred.
Uphold the exclusivity agreement and adhere to company policies regarding client management.
