YOUR MISSION

Your mission is to drive Hawk's sustainable growth and success by providing the Finance and Leadership teams with critical insights and analysis. You will distill complex topics into actionable business levers, guiding decisions that will determine Hawk's trajectory. You will manage organizational transformations with clarity and precision and will play a crucial role in building a world-class Finance function, empowering our organization to scale rapidly. Collaborating with our incredibly talented and diverse team, representing 26+ nationalities across Europe, the USA, and beyond, in our united effort to combat financial crime on a global scale. Together, we will ensure Hawk's financial strength and operational excellence, contributing to a safer world.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

You will report to the Head of Finance and support the Hawk leadership with ad-hoc analysis and projects, including:

  • Provide strategic financial analysis and identify actionable insights for improvement and to support executive decision-making (e.g. performance indicators, cash conversion, sales cycles, business drivers)
  • Build and refine financial models to support strategic decision-making, long-term business planning and scenario analysis
  • Respond to investor analysis requests and deliver input for the Advisory Board
  • Contribute to annual finance budgeting and long-term planning process
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in Finance & Strategy and help us to improve our processes
  • Coordinate multiple projects which will improve the organization and enable us to scale, including:
  • Coordinate and lead our Fundraising, including internal stakeholder management, preparing investor presentations, due diligence requests and supporting negotiations
  • Establishing operational KPI dashboard for all functions
  • Developing operating efficiency measurement & prioritisation framework (e.g. for product / developer hiring)
  • Coordinate organisational changes, such as functional target operating models
  • Assisting in selection and implementation of new software systems and ensuring data flows between existing systems
  • Support the end-to-end M&A process, including target identification, valuation analysis, financial modelling, due diligence coordination, integration planning and working with external advisors

YOUR PROFILE

  • 5-7+ years of experience in a Big4 / leading consulting or in a similar role in industry (e.g. fast paced, scale up or VC environment)
  • Located in Munich, Berlin, London, or East-Coast USA
  • Hands-on Finance-specific experience (e.g. Financial Due Diligence, M&A, Finance Consulting, Corporate Finance or similar)
  • Very strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Knowledge of Software and Tech sectors, including SaaS KPIs and metrics
  • Pragmatic with a "can do/ getting things done" attitude
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Structured, analytical thinker and storyteller who is numbers-driven and able to align your actions with company goals
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent English language skills & comfortable working in an international environment (German not required, but would be a plus)
