In this role, you’ll be responsible for building and optimizing user interfaces, contributing to design discussions, and delivering high-quality front-end code. • Develop, test, and maintain responsive, high-quality front-end applications using React and Next.js.
• Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to implement and enhance UI/UX across projects.
• Optimize front-end performance, ensuring applications are fast, accessible.
• Write clean, modular, and reusable code while adhering to industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across browsers and devices.
• Participate actively in code reviews, team meetings.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Experience with React and Next.js: Proficiency in building applications with React and/or Next.js, with a solid understanding of core concepts like hooks, server-side rendering, and static site generation.
• HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Expertise: Strong foundational skills in HTML, CSS (including frameworks like Tailwind CSS or Styled Components), and JavaScript/ES6+.
• Responsive Design and Cross-Browser Compatibility: Knowledge of responsive design principles and experience ensuring compatibility across multiple browsers and devices.
• Version Control (Git): Proficient in using Git for version control and collaborative development.
• Problem Solving and Communication: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently, with good written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Familiarity with TypeScript and experience using it in a Next.js environment.
• Knowledge of front-end testing frameworks, such as Jest or Cypress.
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand) or React Query.

Where: The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Compensation: The target base compensation for this position is $80,000 to $90,000 USD per hour in most US locations.
