Job Overview

Our company is currently recruiting for a Senior Frontend Engineer (React) to join our team. In this role, you will work in an Agile Scrum team to enhance and maintain the enterprise-wide component library utilizing React and TypeScript. You will also contribute to other software applications that improve the developer experience at our company. You will be responsible for developing and iterating a solution integral to multiple company products.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement high-quality technical solutions, utilizing object-oriented principles, design patterns, and testing practices
• Design user-based interactions through effective front-end architecture
• Solve complex technical problems, anticipate issues or blockers, and support the team as an escalation point
• Provide comprehensive feedback for the team during code reviews and advocate for development aligned with internal standards
• Assist teams with implementation questions and other help requests regarding the component library and React and Typescript in general
• Contribute to internal documentation and share knowledge with the team to support with design, development, and testing practices
• Support with technical decisions by identifying opportunities and risks to enable team success
• Integrate with 3rd party APIs
• Ensure the entire stack is designed and built for security, speed, and scalability

What You’ll Need to Succeed

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has the ability to work 100% remotely, or from a company office

Your experience should include some or all of the following:

• 5 + years of professional experience building web applications using React, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript
• Proficiency with the latest versions of React and common React design patterns
• Proficiency in working with Rest API’s
• Knowledge of web development cycle and programming techniques and tools
• Knowledge of backend programming
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and a head for problem-solving
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or CIS, or equivalent work experience

Additionally, you may have:

• Experience with FIGMA, Gitlab, Cypress, Apigee, Storybook is a plus
