PMI is looking for an experienced marketing professional who is responsible for strategically executing the regional marketing strategy and plan. The Regional Marketing Lead APAC will be accountable for executing performance marketing campaigns in APAC and working with a larger central team to ensure region representation in larger marketing initiatives. They will provide a consistent approach, for improved brand impact and efficiency, to realize PMI ambition and regional growth plans. Collaborating with regional and country business teams and marketing teams integrates activities to generate profitable B2C sales and volume growth in products and experiences and build strong customer relationships.
What You’ll Bring To The Role
- Lead the execution of regional marketing strategy and development plans to generate regional revenue and drive conversions. Working collaboratively with Brand Marketing to activate programs in the region.
- Identifies regional growth opportunities, customer segment trends, and relevant competitive activities that influence customer development performance. Adopting a growth mindset for continual improvement of campaigns to drive performance marketing, working closely with the Growth Marketing Manager
- Establish sales enablement activities, leveraging marketing and product management for consistent customer engagement, and support for new sales pipeline growth with the sales teams.
- Managing direct agency relationships as applicable in the design and implementation of campaigns localized to regions.
- Serve as the central point of contact for regional marketing for assigned region, and escalation for the region, to the Regional MD. Supporting the regional business team to customize assets to reflect the local market.
- Provide line management support Regional Marketing for the assigned region, coaching, developing, guiding, and being a point of escalation.
- Define the activities that are locally meaningful, establish awareness of PMI, and focus on lead generation. Contribute to the identification of priorities across regions that positively impact PMI.
- Develop KPIs and goals aligned with performance marketing metrics, track marketing performance, and develop reports against established goals and objectives; recommend adjustments. Provide proactive data analysis for regional recommendations on trends and future opportunities. Working with the Growth Marketing lead and PMI analytics team.
- Establish regional marketing operational processes to migrate from ‘growth’ to ‘in life’ approaches aligned to outcome-focused metrics, including field marketing support setup and team coordination.
- Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of PMI strategy, current and emerging solution capabilities, and strategic direction for advocacy efforts and team capabilities.
- Work closely with events team to support event marketing, collateral development, drive footfall and ensure representation of the brand as per guidelines at high value events in the region.
Role Qualifications
- Degree in business, marketing, or another field relevant to this role; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of marketing experience; regional or global experience required.
- Essential: Proven Regional Knowledge, executing marketing campaigns across key countries in the region including Singapore, Australia, Japan, South Korea, and Indonesia. Plus, South Asia including India and Pakistan. Experience working in a sales environment in a growing global organization or similar product environment.
- Experience providing strategic direction to vendors as well as effective vendor management.
- Experience and knowledge of performance marketing especially in the APAC region
- Knowledge of media planning, buying, optimization of campaigns to drive better performance.
- Experience of analyzing data that represents marketing performance for sales.
- Proficiency in languages- Japanese, Korean is preferred.
