Piper Companies is currently seeking an experienced Biostatistician with Oncology experience to support a global clinical research organization on a part time basis.

Responsibilities of the Biostatistician:

• Provide Statistical oversight
• Authors or performs quality control review (QC) of SAPs and shells. May author or QC complex SAPs, under supervision if needed.
• Perform QC of derived datasets, and Tables, Listings, Figures (TLFs)
• Identifies risks to project delivery and/or quality and spends time to proactively avoid as well as proposes solutions to mitigate risks. Where possible, anticipate risks to minimize the need for study level escalations.
• Assist with protocol review.
• Participate in case report form (CRF) review, as applicable.
• Reviews or drafts Clinical Study Reports or statistical report.
  
  

Qualifications of the Biostatistician:

• 4+ years of experience within biostatistics and clinical trials
• Oncology experience
• Demonstrated experience of SAS macro development, code generation and algorithms
• Comprehensive knowledge of FDA/EMA/ICH guidelines for statistical and clinical data analysis, data structure, and new developments and industry standards in statistics and drug development
• Advanced degree (MS or PHD) in statistics or closely related field
  
  

Compensation for the Biostatistician:
